The project was supported and made possible by arts collective- Active Ingredient , CEMA (Centre for electronic and media arts) and Performed by The Sonic Arts Group at Monash University in Melbourne Australia.

Hydrophonics Online was a groundbreaking project. Audiences could watch, listen, and feel, through embodied experiences, sonic compositions played 10,500 miles away. These collaborations were some of the first of their kind to use online applications to connect artworks across space and time through live sound and video. Hydrophonics-on-line illustrated how new technologies can unite people across diverse environments, creating embodied experiences that have the potential to deepen self-awareness and environmental engagement.
